New York, September 2026 – Christopher joins Coravel from Seaside LNG, where he served as Advisor under Arroyo Investors, supporting the development of one of North America’s only fully integrated LNG logistics platforms, encompassing shoreside liquefaction, LNG storage, and Jones Act compliant bunkering capabilities. Prior to that, Christopher served as Senior Vice President of Implementation at Cielo Digital Infrastructure, also backed by Arroyo Investors, where he led the end-to-end site development function across a portfolio of data center and digital infrastructure projects throughout the continental United States.
Coravel is a global, integrated digital infrastructure company backed by ACS Group and Global Infrastructure Partners, part of BlackRock. By bringing together power strategy, development, construction, capital, and operations under one platform, Coravel reduces complexity and delivers capacity where and when its customers need it. Christopher’s experience across energy infrastructure, digital infrastructure, and complex project development makes him an outstanding fit to lead the development function as Coravel continues to scale.
The search was led by George Bacon and Lucas Chadwick at Metric.
Of the process, Christopher Maier commented: “Lucas was the consummate professional while working to recruit and place me in an executive role. His persistence, attention to detail, and constant communication was well received and greatly appreciated. Lucas is highly knowledgeable in his field, not only with the landscape of the digital infrastructure sector, but also regarding the clients he is recruiting for. Lucas and Metric were a pleasure to work with, and they helped secure a role that was a perfect fit for not only me, but also for the client. I highly recommend working with Lucas if you have the opportunity.”
Of the partnership, Coravel commented: “The partnership we have executed between Metric and our platform has been incredibly successful. George brings what most can’t, commitments that materialize into outcomes that matter for our business. He is a valued partner and a trusted extension of our leadership team.”
Speaking of the placement, George Bacon and Lucas Chadwick commented: “Coravel is exactly the kind of partner that brings out the best in what we do. They are building something that demands senior leadership of genuine depth and credibility, and placing Christopher into the Chief Development Officer role is a reflection of that. His background across energy infrastructure and digital infrastructure development is rare, and his ability to take complex, multi-stakeholder projects from concept through to delivery is precisely what Coravel needs at this stage of their growth. We are proud of the partnership we have built with the Coravel team and look forward to continuing to support them.”
