New York, July 9, 2026 – New York-founded recruitment firm Metric is proud to announce the successful placement of Jody Swanson as Chief Human Resources Officer at ZimVie. The appointment comes at a pivotal moment for the company, following its acquisition by ARCHIMED in October 2025 and its transition into a privately held business poised for its next phase of growth.
Jody brings more than 30 years of experience across healthcare, medical devices, biotechnology, life sciences and manufacturing, a career built on the belief that great organizations are built by great people. Known for her people-first approach and her ability to navigate organizations through periods of significant growth and change, she is widely recognized as a leader who builds cultures where teams can perform at their very best.
The search was led by Alex Alves-Khan, Business Development Director, and Billy Williams, Senior Group Business Manager.
Of the partnership with Metric, Tim Tirabassi, Senior Associate of People at ARCHIMED, commented: “The Metric team excels at understanding the true nature of an executive mandate and the caliber of candidate it requires. They were instrumental in identifying and securing our new CHRO at ZimVie through a major transformation from public company to private ownership.”
Speaking of the placement, Metric CCO John-Joe Walker commented: “Jody is exactly the kind of people-centered leader that a company like ZimVie needs at this stage of its journey. Following its acquisition by ARCHIMED, ZimVie is entering an exciting new chapter and having the right human capital leadership in place is critical to realizing that potential. Jody’s depth of experience across the life sciences and medtech space, combined with her genuine passion for culture and people, makes her an outstanding appointment. Great work from Alex and Billy on this search, and a privilege to continue building on our partnership with ARCHIMED.”
