New York, December 2022 – New York-founded recruitment company Metric is pleased to announce the successful appointment of Scott Drees as the CEO of Neurolief. Scott joins Neurolief with an impressive 27-year track record in the neuromodulation space and extensive experience in the commercialization of neuromodulation technologies, uniquely positioning him to take Neurolief to its next phase of growth.
Founder of Neurolief, Amit Dar, had this to say about the partnership with Metric: “Understanding the critical role of the CEO in maximizing the company’s success and knowing that the allocation of a highly qualified person for this role may be challenging, I contacted John-Joe Walker and asked him to lead the CEO search process. I knew John-Joe has vast experience in executive search and specializes in the Medtech and Neuromodulation fields.
From the beginning of the process, I felt we were in highly professional hands. Starting from our initial call, John-Joe was able to have an in-depth understanding of the company’s needs and expectations. This was rapidly translated into a short list of highly suitable and capable candidates. He was also very good at generating high interest, getting the candidates enthusiastic about the opportunity.
Having previous experience with executive recruitment processes, I can say that the CEO recruitment process we had with John-Joe was very efficient, fast and with a very successful outcome. I would highly recommend John-Joe’s services for anyone who wishes to have an effective executive search and placement.”
Most recently, Scott served as CEO of Neuromodulation Ventures LLC, a private company which is focused on the incubation of new neuromodulation companies. Prior to that, he was CEO and Director of Nuvectra, a public company which designed and commercialized the AlgoVita Spinal Cord Stimulation system from 2015 – 2019.
Search lead and Metric CCO John-Joe Walker commented: “It was a pleasure to work closely alongside Amit and the board of directors at Neurolief to find the perfect candidate to lead their global growth plans and be their first US-based hire. Scott’s pedigree in the neuromodulation field makes him the ideal placement for such an exciting role.”
